Our African soil was graced this week by two better than average skateboarders; Mark Appleyard and Chris Haslam. I have respect for the one, but not so much the other who seemed to be out of his ''element'' eventhough the kids still ''flip''ped when he arrived. Seems like they were more there to sign posters and talk to the kids than do actual skating, which I guess is why kids come to demos anyway.
The local guys seemed to do more of the skating, but thats just because they still have to prove themselves (Haslam doesn'e have to prove himself to no one).
All in all it was a good day chilling and watching skating. (We did end up skating ourselves, but far away where no one would be able to see us).
